We’re in the bottom of the ninth, bases are loaded, full count with two outs. Don’t get caught looking.

If you haven’t registered yet, now’s the time to do it.

To All ESSA Players!

As you know we launched registration for the 2026 season at our Fall General Meeting and Banquet this morning.  The online registration form is now available at https://staging.essaslopitch.com/essa-2026-registration/  or the link can be found on the new website the resources tab.

The Board has decided there will be no changes to the fee structure for 2026.

If you register early the fee will be $130 including the banquet and that is good until Dec 1st, 2025.

If you register after Dec 1st the fee will be $150 including the banquet.

Please join me in congratulating Shebeen’s on winning the league championship after an exciting and hard fought final against Not The Grille

It was a terrific game that capped off a great season, and both teams deserve full credit for their effort and sportsmanship.

Well done to Shebeen’s on bringing home the championship and thanks again to all the players, coaches and supporters for making this season such a success.

Already looking forward to next season.

The regular season has been completed and the playoff seeding standings are:

1. Irish Shebeen
2. Dust Devils
3. Not The Grille
4. RenPark Security
5. Roto-Rooter Toronto
6. Westowne Mazda
7. Mudhens

The first place team (Shebeen’s) gets a bye and the remaining teams play

in the quarter-finals on Monday September 8:

• Field # 2 – Roto-Rooter (V) vs Renpark Security (H)
• Field # 3 – Westowne Mazda (V) vs Not The Grille (H)
• Field # 4 – Mudhens (V) vs Dust Devils (H)

There will be a picnic for all players, spares, scorekeepers in the pavilion at

Dunton Park after the games. Pizza is being supplied by the Association, so

bring some beverages and chairs, and any other food you want.

NOTE: Captains will be collecting the jerseys from the teams that do not

advance to the semi-finals, so bring an extra shirt to wear after the game.

Hello again, 

Our rainout days this season saved us money.
The league’s executive has decided to use the savings to provide pizza at the picnic. 

Choices will be the same as at our May Meeting: Pepperoni, Hawaiian, Canadian and Vegetarian. Pizza is to arrive at noon.

Please bring whatever you would like to drink.

As the first place team has a bye, we invite them to come to cheer on teams during our first day of playoffs and enjoy pizza.

This is due to unforeseen circumstances.

Hello everyone:

I would like to remind you of our end of the season picnic, this coming Wednesday, September 3rd. It will take place after our games at the tables by the parking lot.
Be sure to pack yourself a lunch.
Come and share stories with other players in the league.

Yes, there will be 50/50 draw: $5.00 for one, $10.00 for three or $20.00 for seven tickets.

Also, our 31st annual banquet takes place Wednesday October 1st at the Canadiana Restaurant in Six Points Plaza.

Doors open at 10:30 am.
Meeting starts at 10:45 am.
Lunch is served at 11:30 am.

Make sure you have given your lunch choice to your team captain.
